R.O.X. Bike For A Cause charity cycling event
FOR FOUR years now, R.O.X. (Recreational Outdoor eXchange), Southeast Asia's largest outdoor sports and recreation superstore, has been holding its highly anticipated Bike Fair, which showcases various activities lined up for a whole month promoting the sport. Held last July 15 to Aug. 16, the bike fair featured a roster of educational and recreational activities throughout different parts of the country, including special sales, biking events, and a bike donation drive.
This year's Bike Fair also served as platform that gathered biking enthusiasts to collectively give back and empower the community through its 4th Bike For A Cause event, held last August towards the end of the monthlong event at Marquee Mall, Pampanga City. Presented in cooperation with Marquee Mall, the Primer Group of Companies, Fox, Osprey, Timbuk2, Dahon, Felt Bicycle, Tern, Bickerton, and Biologic, this year's R.O.X. Bike For A Cause event was organized by Hubble Multisports.
Its first event had 200 registered participants and after four years, this year's Bike For A Cause grew to over a thousand registered participants. Special prizes such as the "Most Unique Bike," and "Most Number of Riders in a Group," were also awarded during the event alongside the turnover of the donation drive proceeds to Bikes for the Philippines.
