Nonna Nanagas was quoted saying: "Even though I still enjoy every moment of this work, it is time to take a step back and let a new generation take over. Waving off is always a little sad, but Dentsu Philippines is in better shape than ever. We have a great team in place and the future for this agency is looking bright, which gives me a great sense of satisfaction and makes leaving somewhat easier for me."

"When I was appointed CEO for our network in the Philippines Nonna showed great leadership by being supportive, kind and generous with advice. Dentsu Philippines has been one of our runaway brands under her leadership, and will continue to be so. I have great confidence in the team in place now, and I am looking forward to announce the appointment of a new leader for Dentsu Philippines in the foreseeable future", said Miguel Ramos, CEO for Dentsu Aegis Network Philippines.

Dick van Motman, Chairman and CEO for Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia said: "Nonna is an exemplary leader and I'm very proud at how she's matured her brand in a very competitive market like the Philippines. Her dedication in ensuring Dentsu Philippines attracted top talent, while having relentless focus on addressing our clients' needs will be admired by many. While her retirement had come as a sad and difficult decision for me, I'm confident that she has set the stage for a successful business continuity through her team of Titus Arce, Gary Amante, Rey Tiempo and Jam De Guzman to see us through this transition."
