the retirement of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant last year, Cleveland Cavaliers star Lebron J ames has emerged as the most popular NBA player in the country in terms of jersey sales.

NBA Philippines head Carlo Singson said that James topped the jersey sales in the country since the start of the 2016-2017 season – and that does not include those who are buying imitation jerseys around the country.

The 32-year-old forward, a three-time NBA champion and four-time league MVP, is coming from a stellar season, leading the Cavaliers to its first championship in 52 years.

Coming in at second place is Golden State Warriors sniper Stephen Curry, followed by Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving, Houston Rockets’ J ames Harden and Chicago Bulls’ Dwyane Wade to complete the top five.

Placing from sixth to tenth places are San Antonio Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard, Oklahoma City Thunders’ Russel Westbrook, Warriors’ Klay Thompson, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard and Bulls’ Jimmy Butler.

In terms of team jersey’s sales, Singson said that the 2015 NBA champions Warriors are on top followed by the Cavaliers, the Lakers, which is led by Filipino- American Jordan Clarkson, the Bulls and the Spurs.
