Online boom a win for Alwyn
Though actor Alwyn Uytingco is a huge fan of gadgets like mobile phones and computers as these are useful tools in establishing solid bond with fans, he acknowledges its shortcomings.
“’Yung paglaganap ng mga computers sa mga bata, ’yung sa mga younger generation, kasi parang naging madali na lang ang lahat sa kanila, communication, research... may psychological effect ito eh,” he said.
“Bata pa lang sila madali na ang buhay nila. Pero siyempre we all need to go through hardships para tumibay tayo, di ba?”
In any case, Alwyn would rather see things through positive eyes especially since he has a TV show released through Digital5 (tv5.com.ph). Recall the actor was previously seen on the hit web series “Forever Sucks: Season 2.”
Alwyn is also busy doing personal projects like vlogging (video blogging), and establishing a website with friends.
“We handle mylifeonboard.net. It’s a sports site which covers surfing, skateboarding... any board sports related na sport,” he shared.
The actor is also on top of caferacer. ph which is all about customizing motorbikes even though he doesn’t actually ride.
“Actually it’s my friends project and dahil alam niya na I’m practicing filmmaking kinuha niya ako para meron siyang kasama mag-shoot.” he explained.
Alwyn revealed he has discussed with fellow TV5 talent Mark Neumann the possibility of them producing their own web show.
“Ang idea namin medyo suspense thriller, neo-drama, war, or ’yung may martial arts like the action-adventure film ‘Assassin’s Creed,’” he said. “Passion na rin lang siguro base na lang du’n sa experience ko as actor. Ako naman nag scriptwriting workshop ako kay direk Erik Matti eh.”
He urged fans to check out his new project with Meg Imperial and Ping Medina titled “Red Envelope” on SariSari Channel. The
