Token, challenging ang role sa ‘Tawid Gutom’

SA pelikulang Tawid Gutom, written and directed by Jigs Recto, ay kakaiba at very challenging role ang ibinigay kay Charity Diva Token Lizares.

“My role here is an old, very sick woman scavenger. My name here is Marcelina, an illegal recruiter, swindler, estafa queen in my younger days.

“I had plenty of money from fooling people but in the end, I was caught and jailed for years. My family abandoned and despised me, even my two children abandoned me also. Finally, I was released in jail but I was already old, sick and penniless. I became a scavenger to be able to fend for myself. There I met one of the people I duped. His name is Pilo. This is also a story of vengeance and in the end, forgiveness. “Tawid Gutom, a film by Direk Jigs Recto will move your eyes to tears based on real life stories around us. A film that will bring great lessons to all of us and that Karma is true na whatever you sow, you reap, the good that you do will come back to you, the same for the bad things you do.

Ang Tawid Gutom ay ipalalabas sa mga sinehan this coming March 2019.
