Al Etihad International Institute completes 22 years

MUSCAT: Al Etihad International Institute is one of the companies supported by Khazzan Project for SME Development.

The institute specializes in providing training and development programmes and offers consultation services in human resources development. The institute has completed 22 years since inception and has offered training services in several wilayats across Oman.

Managed by Yousef Al Hashami, the institute was established in 1996. It is located in the Wilayat of Samail in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah. It is equipped with the most recent audiovisual training tools. They provide training courses and workshops in different fields like human resources development, management and finance, English language and IT. The institute has delivered courses and programmes in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah as well as in the wilayats of Musairah, Khasab, Sohar, Sur, Ibra, Salalah, Haima, Ibri, Bidbid, Muscat and Muhoot.

Yousef started his business at an early age. Once a trainee, he was offered an administrative job at the institute. Yousef was seeing that the institute has more potential but it needed to take a new approach. He took the bold decision to buy the institute from its original owners and since the business has grown. The institute is recognised as one of the best training institutes in the Governorate of Ad Dakhiliyah. It has provided more than 13 job opportunities in the local community and has expanded outside of the Willaya.
