Excitement aplenty at Toyota ‘Wave’ pavilion
Toyota has a sweet surprise for its visitors - a special launch of the all-new 2017 Corolla at the pavilion itself
MUSCAT: Toyota is back at the Oman’s much-awaited automotive event – Oman Motor Show.
“We are excited to be back with a bigger than ever show at Oman Motor Show, now being held in the new Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Those who want to know what new and exciting things await them we are happy to spell out the details,” said the spokesperson.
This year, there is a lot in store for everyone at the Toyota pavilion. In the words of the spokesperson, “The experience starts at the sight of the futuristically styled ‘Wave’ Design Toyota Pavilion – it is not only impressive but also radiates a strong Toyota brand identity. The design echoes Toyota’s core values of ‘Peace of Mind’ and ‘Waku-Doki’. This ‘Wave’ design is inspired by ‘Origami’ – the famous Japanese paper artcraft.”

“Yes, it is true that we are planning a live unveiling of 2017 Toy- ota Corolla at the pavilion. What is more, customers may also be able to take a test drive in it. Please don’t miss the chance and use the special opportunity to get on-thespot test drives!”
The exciting 2017 range models are on display, too. The young and sporty-natured can have a gala time checking out the TRD (Toyota Racing Development) models, others can relax at the lounge, inside the Wave.
The spokesperson continued, “Moving a little further on, visitors can get into an immersive Virtual Reality experience at the Prius Virtual Drive Zone. The moment a visitor steps into the Zone, he or she is able to explore Hybrid Technology like never before. With this experience, one can quickly understand how the Prius works and what hybrid technology really is…this is something that one must personally experience.”
There also are two interesting contests where people canwin fabulous prizes. First is the ‘Crack the Code’ game. In this game, participants have to complete all letters in the word Toyota by searching and scanning the QR codes displayed in the venue. Once done, they can enter into the raffle and have a chance to win fabulous prizes. In addition, there is the option to just register with the Toyota staff present there and get a chance to participate in a raffle.
