500bz emergency credit for Omantel users

Times News Service MUSCAT: Omantel, the leading telecommun­ications service provider in the Sultanate, has announced the launch of its latest service which aims to keep its customers always connected.

This unique service offers Hayyak customers emergency credit to use when they do not have sufficient credit until they manage to recharge their credit again.

Advance credit

Hayyak customers, whose credit reaches 39 baisas or less, will receive an SMS informing them to benefit from the advance credit of 500bz.

Upon accepting the credit by simply sending ‘y’ to 91224, customers will receive the credit advance instantly.

This advance credit will later be deducted from their balance on their next recharge.

Commenting on this new service, Sahar Khalfan Al Asmi, manager of applicatio­ns and data services at the Omantel Consumer Unit said, “Sometimes, our cus- tomers run out of credit and are not able to recharge instantly for various reasons. Therefore, we introduced this service to make sure they stay connected whenever and wherever they are.”

“Subscriber­s can use this advanced credit to make local or Internatio­nal phone calls, send SMSs or even surf the Internet,” she added.

Offer validity

This operation will be charged 50bz per message, which will be deducted from the next top up. The offer will remain valid up to August 8, 2015.
