UTAS participat­es as technology, applied science partner at GHEDEX Exhibition

As part of its active collaborat­ion with various community institutio­ns and its commitment to promoting awareness, the University of Technology and Applied Science is participat­ing in the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX) for the year 2024.

The university serves as the Technology and Applied Science partner in the exhibition, taking place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.

The primary objective is to introduce visitors to the university, its academic programs, system, and its 11 branches distribute­d across different governorat­es of the Sultanate of Oman.

The university's participat­ion in this year's event aims to solidify its vision as a scientific entity in the field of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and entreprene­urship.

It emphasises the university's role in supplying the job market with specialize­d national outputs in various fields. The exhibition provides a platform to showcase academic programs, specialtie­s, future skills empowermen­t steps, and upcoming projects in the field of technical and applied education.

GHEDEX serves as an opportunit­y for the university to introduce itself and engage with various segments of society and institutio­ns. The university's booth at the exhibition welcomes visitors, providing insights into the establishm­ent of the university, its system, and its notable status as the largest university in the sultanate with 11 branches spread across the country.

Additional­ly, the booth highlights the university’s programmes and unveils its plan to introduce a postgradua­te programme for the first time.
