Al Ahlia Insurance, one of the oldest and leading non-life insurance providers in Oman, has achieved a major milestone by engaging more agents and building excellent relationships with its patrons through its easy-toaccess approach.

The company recently increased its reach by adding eight new agents this year in Sohar Industrial Area, Amerat, Izki, Madinat Irfan, Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Barka, Sinaw and Ibri.

‘This brings the current agent network strength to 33 in 37 locations, which also makes Al Ahlia’s network the largest in Oman,’ the company said in a statement.

Al Ahlia utilises fixed infrastructure and state-of-the-art digital capabilities to bring seamless access to life; via 24 own branches, a dedicated call centre, and a convenient online platform.

The exclusive agents are dedicated to form a vital link in Al Ahlia’s nationwide network. All of these agents are licensed by the regulator Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and are trained to provide a wide range of retail and commercial insurance services.

“Al Ahlia has been one of the leading insurers in Oman, and this would not have been possible without our dedicated and trustworthy agents, who continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our customers are provided the best-in-class services,” said Praveen Kumar, CEO, Al Ahlia Insurance Company SAOG.

“Every agent exemplifies our customer-first approach and offers a high standard of service. By creating a network of agents across the country, Al Ahlia is looking to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship by providing SME opportunities for eligible Omanis as insurance agents,” the CEO added.

Al Ahlia has also created opportunities for women to become valuable partners in the growth of the nation. As of now, 13 of Ahlia’s agencies are owned and operated by Omani female entrepreneurs.

Mohammed Qusaimi, Head of Partnerships at Al Ahlia Insurance Company said, “Most of our agents are accessible to our customers seven days a week via WhatsApp. Highly dedicated and prompt, these agents can issue a range of policies, including Personal Motor, SME policies, in an instant.”

“Al Ahlia takes pride in its customer service and this is reflected in our agent network that is the largest in the country, and our aim is to continue expanding this network and make sure there is an Al Ahlia agent close to everyone in the country,” he added.

Al Ahlia has been at the forefront of launching innovative propositions and is committed to investing in distribution and technology to provide customers with unmatched service support.

The company offers a wide range of products and services for both the commercial and retail sectors, ranging from motor insurance, personal accident, and home products. Commercial services include insurance for property, casualty, construction, marine, professional, and speciality lines.
