Efekoha Bags IoD Fellow Award
The Chairman, Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) and Managing Director, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc, Eddie Efekoha, was among 40 eminent professionals and business leaders conferred with the fellowship of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria recently.
The Director-General/CEO of the institute, Dele Alimi, who spoke at the event in Lagos, said the award is for members with a minimum of 10-year directorship experience in reputable organisations and have distinguished themselves over the years.
The event also featured conferment of Distinguished Fellow Award on two past presidents of the institute, Chief Eniola Fadayomi and Samuel Yemi Akeju as well as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele and Chairman, Thorbourn Investment Limited, Justin Emmanuel.
The list also includes: President Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman, Zenith Bank Plc., Jim Ovia; Chairman, John Holt, Christopher Ezeh.
Among those to be upgraded as fellows are: MD/CEO, Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc., Dr. Olusegun Omosehin and Director, First Bank Nigeria, Ambrose Feese,
Others are: MD/CEO, Heritage Bank, Ifie Sekibo; Chairman, Mobil Oil Nigeria, Oyetunji Oyebanji; Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission, Alhaji Bello Mahmud and MD/CEO, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Alhaji Umaru Ibrahim among others.
