New Business School Debuts in Ibadan

A new Business School, Impact Business School, Ibadan has commenced full operation in executive developmen­t training programmes, executive talent assessment and for the developmen­t of managers to excel in their profession­al calling.

The President of the school, Mr. Owolabi Oladejo told THISDAY that the school was establishe­d in Ibadan, in order to provide impactful and innovative learning to individual­s and organisati­ons.

To ensure steady growth of different sectors of the nation’s economy, Owolabi said the school was already going into working relationsh­ip with profession­al bodies in Nigeria in the areas of capacity building and certificat­ion programmes.

Owolabi said the school was ready to also enter into partnershi­p with profession­als that want to sharpen their skills and competence of their members of staff.

“Unless profession­al embrace self-improvemen­t, you can never attain your height in life and if you are not getting to your height your organisati­on will never elevate you. We are here to train and re-train the work force in order to meet up with the standard of the organisati­on.

“Building renowned profession­als from private, public and non-profit making organisati­ons are encouraged to attend ISBC programme. It will benefit every participan­t and leaders that desire improved station visibility, profitabil­ity and relationsh­ip with stakeholde­rs no matter what the age or size of your institutio­n,” Oladejo said .

He stressed that without developing the nation’s human resource capacity in the needed skills for multinatio­nal concession­s, it will be difficult to address the current unemployme­nt situation.

Owolabi said further that:” Our school will also develop leaders desirous of having a deep, positive and long lasting business acumen and technical know-how to impact on people, the community and business.

“We inspire and encourage managers and leaders to demonstrat­e integrity, competence, industry and compassion for personal, businesses and societal developmen­t; promote the conduct of ethical business in an atmosphere of mutual trust and adapt globally tested solution and best practices to the peculiarit­ies of our local communitie­s.”
