Abe: It’s a Manifestation of Change

The senator representing Rivers South-East in the National Assembly, Senator Magnus Abe has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, on his victory at the presidential poll, describing the victory as a manifestation of the change the people yearned for.

Abe, who stated this in his reaction to Buhari’s emergence as president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, described the victory as a manifestation of the change the people yearned for.

The senator saluted those he called fathers of Nigeria’s march to greatness, among them Governor Chibuike Amaechi for their resilience in the face of unwarranted persecutions, intimidation and oppression; saying posterity will remember their doggedness, tenacity and perseverance in the quest for a secure future for the country.

Abe disclosed that with the peoples’ general at the helm of affairs; whom he said was overwhelmingly chosen by Nigerians despite the billions of naira expended on smear campaigns against him, the country will now commence its realignment to the path of progress.
