Christopher Isiguzo The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has donated an ultra-modern library/ bookshop worth N40 million to Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) as part of its policy to support government’s programme in developing the education sector.
Commissioning the bookshop named after the Vice-President, Namadi Sambo, the Chairman of NDIC, Ambassador Hassan Adamu, said the project is part of the company’s policy intervention in the country’s higher institutions.
“It was named after the vice-president for his love for education, for what he has done as a former governor of Kaduna State. He put education at the forefront and in making Nigeria great.”

The Managing Director, Alhaji Umaru Ibrahim, said as a matter of policy, NDIC helps to fund various projects in universities and other institutions across the country for those that deserve them. That he said is the importance of the project.
