To the wailers!

-

We both agree that this servant of God, Buhari is not infallible, he makes mistakes. Then we further agreed with you that where he made any mistake, both of us should shout for amend, so that he corrects it.

But you later employed cheating and overreaching, whenever anything good is done under his watch, you pulled the string of your mouth and shut it tight; and whenever anything wrong is done under his watch, you castigate it on top of your voices saying he is incompetent. When we come out and explain to people, another controversy is unlocked by you, claiming foul play. I don’t know on which day, of which month and year has good turned to evil.

I assure you that, if not for fear of the hereafter, for every single lie you manufactured against Buhari, we will multiply ours by ten; packaged them in polythene bags, and follow you to spread them in political market: we then shall see who amongst us will make huge political gain and who will shamefully packed his wares back home. Except that we are not out to support lies. Our aim is to see this country well repaired for the benefit of all; and anytime you put forward bunches of lies, we will expose by their sides those of truth.

Why? You don’t recognize whatsoever effort this old man made. Justice is that when you exposed the wrongs of a person, you should recognize his rights also.

When 250,000 people were granted 30,000 each, under the N-Power program, I thought I will see for myself at least 250,000 posts of appreciation. In the contrary, the youthful beneficiaries used that money to buy airtime, just to come online and talk ill of Buhari. In another instance, Buhari administration paid arrears of pensions and gratuities, and improved the soup of the benefitting families. The old men and women were expressing their happiness and gratitude, while their children, who shortchanged them, are busy buying airtime with the money to lampoon Buhari online to the core. If injustice passes this stage, which worst level will it possibly attend further?

God has made peace returned to Borno and other places through Buhari, but you shrugged and said you don’t care. Through Buhari’s policies, God has helped some students to get fed in schools in both North and South, but you shrugged at it.

And when someone tries to convince any of you to speak the truth, you wear all manner of pitiable faces, saying that you are critics and it is your duty to criticize the government whether they do right or wrong. Is that criticism?

When he was away, you repented and praised the good work of his vice. Now Buhari is back! You may choose to amend and change your ways; or you should sharpen your pencils because, ours are already sharpened; and if you concoct any lie against him, we will write in defense.
