Capital Science Academy turns 10, vows to maintain standard

Founders and management of the Capital Science Academy Kuje on Saturday pledged to continue to improve on the high academic standard the school has been known for in the past ten years.

One of the founders of the Academy, Alhaji Aliyu Dikko, who made the pledge at the 10th anniversar­y of the school, observed that the academy is on course to achieve its set objectives.

Alhaji Dikko, who went down memory lane on the establishm­ent of the academy, reminded the gathering that success does not come by accident but must be worked for and earned, adding that profession­alism, discipline, transparen­cy, commitment by the management, staff, parents and students of the academy have been the key to its success.

The principal of the school, Mr. Peter McLeod, noted that the dream of the founders of the academy is to graduate students that would make an impact in Nigeria and the world, informing that the school had graduated top students in the past ten years and also look forward to same in the next decade.

“It is now our goal in the next decade to move from a position of strength to position of stronger. We have not only been voted the most successful school in Abuja but the best school in Nigeria in the last year,’’ the principal said.

Highlights of the event included the commission­ing of the school’s 10th Anniversar­y Memorial Garden by the representa­tive of the Niger state Governor, Mu’azu Babagida Aliyu.
