BSN holds 57th national board meeting May12
The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is set to hold its 57th national board meeting in Umuahia, Abia State, from Sunday May 12, 2024.
According to a statement signed by Benjamin Mordi, manager, PR and marketing, the 5-day meeting, which is expected to be declared open by the Abia state governor, Alex Otti, will start with a divine service scheduled to hold at the Queen Elizabeth Chapel, Federal Medical
Centre (FMC), Aba Road, Umuahia on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
According to the statement, Timothy Banwo, the president and board chairman of BSN, will preside over the meeting which is being hosted by the South East Zone of the BSN. Among other things, the past and future activities of the organisation concerning its Bible work mandates would be discussed at the meeting.
Similarly, Mordi disclosed that the accounts of the organisation for the past one year would be examined. Accordingly, the general secretary and CEO of BSN, Samuel Sanusi, is expected to present the report for the year under review to the board at the meeting.
Expected at the board meeting are the patron of the BSN, former head of state, Yakubu Gowon; national of
cers, delegates from across the country and some senior members of the management team of the BSN.
