But I’ve taken baking from thee the set and brought it to a mate’s place and beeen been like, ‘Here’s a half-eaten cake and some messedm messed up lamingtons!’”

Whilee While she’s picked up a few cooking tips from thee the show, Hayley prefers to be the guest at a partyty, party, not the host.

She exxplains, explains, “I find hosting quite stressful now, but when I was young, I used to love it. In drama scchool school my house was the party house. It was jusst just a two-bedroom place, and me and my flatmmate flatmate used to throw a party at least a couplee couple of times a month. We used to get brown butcher’sb butcher’s paper and cover our walls in it so soo people could tag and write all over them. After one particularly raucous party, we toook took the brown paper down the next day anda and the vivid had gone all over our wallss. walls. Needless to say, we didn’t get our bondd bond back.”

HayleyH Hayley still enjoys a good knees-up, but these days you’ll find her at the theeatre, theatre, not the clubs.

“I love nothing more than going to a show, having a few more drinks annd and then just staying at the theatre. Esspecially Especially the Basement Theatre in Auuckland; Auckland; it always turns into a bit ofo of a nightclub. And often you’ll just be out on the stoop talking absolute rubbish. The worst I’ve ever done was catching a taxi home at 10am!”
