Helius Therapeutics has appointed Bruce Wallace as its chief quality officer. His previous role was with contract medicines manufacturer, Argenta, where he was global head of quality, with responsibility for quality and GMP compliance at the company’s US, UK, and New Zealand sites. The executive appointment sees Mr Wallace as a key part of the Helius leadership team, says Paul Manning, co-founder and chief executive of Helius Therapeutics.
Mobile engagement software company Plexure has appointed Andrew Flavell as chief technology officer (CTO).
Returning to New Zealand from the United States, Andrew is a strong technical leader with extensive overseas experience. He joins Plexure from Nike where he held roles including privacy distinguished engineer, VP of architecture and VP of Nike+ and brand. In these roles he was responsible for defining and driving global solutions for privacy, overall architecture and direction of modern APIs and micro-services in AWS, and delivery of mobile applications and services for Nike’s consumer ecosystem.
New Zealand’s only NZX listed medicinal cannabis company Cannasouth has appointed Colin Foster as the company’s new chief financial officer. Mr Foster will succeed Rob Braithwaite, who has been working with the Cannasouth team since its inception and played an important role in preparing the company for its public listing in June 2019. Cannasouth CEO Mark Lucas says the transition is a logical progression as Cannasouth grows from a purely research-based organisation into a fully commercial enterprise.
Aura Information Security has appointed veteran security professional Chris Prescott to the role of Principal Security Consultant. Chris brings to the Aura team a wealth of knowledge and experience in cyber security.
