Mix98.2 host Mel Homer is a multi-tasking master. The allrounder juggles a daily radio show, TV presenting and family life. Here are the beauty products that help her make it look effortless. SKIN I use a variety of things — I love the Tailor Skincare Dry Cleanse and I’ve just started using Ultraceuticals products. I take Go Healthy Go Beautiful Skin capsules and Go Healthy Go Hair, Skin and Nails liquid supplement. I am also extremely good at using sunscreen — I had a melanoma removed about 15 years ago, and my mum also had one when she was young so I’ve had it drilled in to me from an early age. MAKEUP I don’t often wear foundation — I usually just use a BB cream. At the moment I’m using a Garnier one, but I try lots of different brands. I love Benefit The Porefessional as a primer — it smooths everything out. Blushwise, I love Benefit Majorette — it’s creamy and smells delicious. For a bit of bronzing I use Benefit Hoola. Lips, I usually just wear a lip balm or gloss, but when I wear lipstick I can’t go past Karen Murrell lipsticks. Her colours are vibrant and the lipsticks stay on and never bleed. HAIR At the moment I’m using Schwarzkopf Ultime Blonde and Bright Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner, and Fabuloso Platinum blonde conditioning treatment about once a week — it stops it from going brassy. I use argan oil to keep the ends healthy. My hair is fairly low maintenance, I get highlights every three months or so, and wear it straight or waved. BODY I have two fragrances that I wear all of the time — they can actually be worn together. My favourite perfume is Dior Addict Eau Fraiche. I also wear Clarins Eau Des Jardins, which is a treatment fragrance, nice and light and grapefruity. It smells like summer. I love Pure Fiji body products. The body butters and lotions just feel so good, and smell amazing. I always get friends to stock up for me when they head to Fiji, as it’s so much cheaper there. I love the Starfruit and White Gingerlily fragrances. The Coconut Cream Body Scrub is beautiful as well. Nicely exfoliating, but not too harsh.
