Junior cyclists in training for competitio­n

Junior cycling started on Monday, October 15, with competitio­n starting on Monday, October 29; 5.15pm registrati­ons, 5.30pm start at Tokoroa Cart Club, Moffat Road, Amisfield. $1 a child each night. Inquires to Shane 027 416 4088. Hot Hula Classes

Mandy has expanded her reper- toire to include Hot Hula. She has been training and learning, and is ready to pass on her expertise. Classes are Monday from 11am till noon and Wednesday from 1pm till 2pm. All classes are $3 and are held at the Elim Church, Aotea Crescent. Under Fives

On Wednesday, October 17 at 10.30am there will be a toddler movement workshop at TCOSS, Tulloch House, Maraetai Rd, Tokoroa. This workshop is for PAFT (Parents as First Teachers). Nomination­s closed on October 5. We have received some fantastic nomination­s with some amazing talent in our area and some fabulous people helping out in administra­tion and coaching roles. This year we are fortunate enough to have Sarah Walker, BMX rider and silver medallist as guest speaker.
