HOWTHEY RATED

-

Thrived on playing behind off-loading teammates. exceptional performance and was a constant threat to poorly organised defence.

Just a typical performance from the man who does not make many mistakes. Deserves some time off but will be missed. Did everything right from the start. So calm in his decisionmaking and continues to progress beyond rivals.

Appeared to be in trouble early with head knock but shrugged it off and answered critics with fine performance.

Showed his ability to finish and was a constant threat whenever he was afforded space. Looks more and more comfortable at test level.

Put some indifferent form behind him and enjoyed the conditions, the pace of the game and attacking nature of the game.

Was a key cog in the All Blacks building up their massive lead in the first half. Just had to be a distributor and was.

Showed in the first half that he is starting to find the form of old. Led well and made some important decisions from penalties. Got a bit loose in the second half and made some mistakes.

Continues to put in above average performances but relies on front five working hard and dominating.

Easily his best performance in an All Blacks jersey. Showed improved pace to score try and was strong on defence. Provides hope post Jerome Kaino.

Just another top drawer first half from the someone who rarely has a bad test.

Really influential in first half. Arguably the best 40 minutes of rugby from an All Blacks lock in professional era.

Got more involved with ball in hand and came up with some some surprisingly good touches in the first half.

Closes the gap on Dane Coles with each test. He showed real confidence as he approached some key first half lineouts that the All Blacks scored from.

Another player who lifted his game from the Lions tour. Was not greatly tested at scrum time.
