Potting bees: TheWairoa River Landcare group holds potting bees on August 1, August 12 and August

Chapel service: Manukau City Baptist holds its monthly Chapel Service on the second Friday of every month, the next is August 12, 10am, 9 Lambie Dr. Morning tea to follow. A time to connect with God through a worship style relevant to an older generation. Ph 278 8998.

Computer training: Manukau Library hosts a computer training session every Friday, 11am. Use one of our computers or bring your own device to get started with computing or get help with an issue you are having. Bookings essential ph 262 5748.

Over 60s: The Selwyn Centre in Manurewa, a group for the over-60s providing companions­hip, gentle exercise, activities and morning tea, meets each Tuesday and Friday morning, 10am-noon. Cost $5. Each session is limited to five participan­ts and places will be filled on a first-in-first-served basis. Please bring your own USB stick to store your work.
