Council Services over the Holiday Season

Dannevirke Service Centre closes at 5pm on Friday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020

Dannevirke Library closes at 1:00pm on Saturday 21 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020

Pahiatua Service Centre closes at 4:30pm on Friday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020

Pahiatua Library closes at 12 Noon Saturday 21 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020.

Woodville Service Centre & Library closes at 5pm Friday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020

Eketahuna Service Centre & Library closes at 4:30pm on Friday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2020

Tararua Business Network closes at 5pm on Friday 20 December and will reopen on Monday 6 January 2020

For emergency assistance involving council services during this time, please call the normal office telephone number; this will connect you to our after-hours service, which is available 24 hours a day.

Tararua i-SITE will be open every day except Christmas Day. Opening hours on weekends and statutory holidays are 9:30am to 2pm; for all other days the hours are 8am to 5pm.

Tararua Alliance closes at 5pm on 20 December 2019 and will re-open Monday 6 January 2020. We will have teams working during this time taking care of general maintenance and callouts

Collection days will remain unchanged.

All landfills and transfer stations will be closed Christmas Day. Normal operating hours otherwise apply.

For assistance with lost, found or roaming dogs, please contact us on the normal Council phone number. If your dog is impounded while we are closed, they may be released by arrangement (if currently registered), please call council as our after-hours service will be able to advise of process.
