HOT off the heels of being named a finalist for the South African Car of the Year, the Citroën C3 range has an exciting new addition: the C3 MAX. The Citroën C3 MAX represents a fusion of style and versatility, crafted as a crossover that epitomises the spirit of modern motoring. With its advanced features and unparalleled value proposition, the C3 MAX promises to redefine the driving experience, and resonate strongly within the market.

Everything Namibia already loves about the Citroën C3 takes a bold step forward with the C3 MAX, delivering even cooler features.

All the Crossover attributes which make the C3 so versatile are now encompassed in two exciting models: C3 FEEL, and C3 MAX. Affordability, style and unique features and experiences all make life on board and behind the wheel as comfortable and rewarding as possible.

The all-new C3 is unmistakably Citroën in its DNA, with a unique yet consistent design language which makes it stand apart from other offerings in the market. Its muscular SUV stance really stands out on the road.

The comprehensive specification of the C3 FEEL is taken to a new level for the new C3 MAX. Starting off the style stakes is the standard fitment of 15-inch allow wheels for added style and presence. Front fog lights enhance the front-end styling further, while a rear skid plate provides underbody protection for the more adventurous. Assisting overall manoeuvring is the addition of a rearview camera. All these features add an even greater value proposition to the C3 MAX.

Technology and seamless connectivity

Smartphones and connected devices are essential in today’s fast-moving world. The all-new C3 is smartphone-friendly, and the latest technology ensures families can stay seamlessly connected, entertained and powered up.

Up front, there’s an easy-to-use 10-inch (26cm) touchscreen, the largest in any hatch and the heart of the infotainment system. Bluetooth® for phone calls, enables Mirror Screen technology to duplicate functions of a wirelessly connected smartphone, through Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ for accessing multimedia content and apps. When using a wired connection via the USB data socket, the phone will be recharged.

The driver also gets a new 7-inch (17.8 cm), colour TFT cluster screen with up to 6 modes for displaying vehicle information, as well as options to monitor trip computer, fuel consumption and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System to aid eco driving. Settings and colour schemes can be configured to driver preferences, using toggle controls on the tilt-adjustable steering wheel.

On the move, passengers can enjoy playing games, listening to their favourite tunes or catching up with social media thanks to quickcharging USB sockets.

Annoying phone cables around the dashboard are now a thing of the past. Citroën’s smart solution is neat ‘ears’ on the sides of the climate control bezel behind which wires can be routed, and a similar route is concealed under the upper instrument panel above the pencil tray.

Fun to drive

The new C3 is powered by Citroën’s acclaimed PURETECH 1.2-litre naturally- aspirated engine, offering a superb balance of performanceandfuelefficiency. With 61kW available, the C3 has more than ample power around town or on the open road, its 115Nm of torque allowing excellent flexibility and manoeuvrability. But the real advantage will be felt at the fuel pumps, the new C3 using just 5.6 litres/100km.

The suspension has been set up to ensure a smooth drive over all road surfaces, with a modular chassis tuned to deliver maximum stability with low body roll. Citroën calls it the Flying Carpet Effect, and it is engineered for better shock absorption and a smoother drive, adding to overall comfort for all occupants.

Valuable peace of mind

The Citroën C3 FEEL and C3 MAX offer an irresistible proposition, and it isn’t just because of all the innovative technologies, comfort and style. The C3 range is coupled with a comprehensive package of after-sales support to make that emotional desire a sensible choice. A Citroën Service Plan will look after your C3 for two years/30 000km, while a full manufacturer warranty covers the car for five years/100 000km.

Priced competitively, the Citroën C3 range is as enticing as ever, whether getting into the FEEL or taking it to the MAX.
