HSBC Malta puts Advance customers a step ahead with new privileges

HSBC Bank Malta is offering eligible customers HSBC Advance free of charge and is introducin­g a number of benefits to its propositio­n.

All HSBC Advance customers will be upgraded to the Visa Platinum credit card while they will continue to benefit from free travel insurance, special offers on personal loans and mortgages, financial planning and internatio­nal services. The Visa Platinum credit card now opens up access to a world of offers in the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection.

HSBC Advance is a privileged banking service which includes a number of exclusive benefits such as preferenti­al rates on loans, banking services and investment­s that are not available on HSBC’s standard accounts. Customers also benefit from an Internatio­nal Reward Scheme when using their HSBC Advance Visa Platinum credit card both locally and overseas.

Daniel Robinson, HSBC Malta head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, said: “We are committed to offering great value and outstandin­g service to our customers and these changes to HSBC Advance mean we are rewarding our customers for trusting us with their income and banking needs. We have added benefits that we believe our customers will appreciate.”

Customers, who pay in a net in- come of €25,000 per year into their HSBC account, or €35,000 if applying jointly with partners, will benefit from HSBC Advance for free.

Key daily banking benefits for HSBC Advance customers include a dedicated 24/7 priority telephone banking service, free access to HSBC Internet Banking and Mobile Banking App, an Advance-branded internatio­nal debit card with a fee-free first supplement­ary card, and cash with- drawals from HSBC ATMs anywhere in the world at no charge.

HSBC Advance customers also benefit from a free worldwide multi-trip travel insurance for the cardholder and their family, free one month’s premium when purchasing protection and retirement planning solutions.

In addition to all these benefits, HSBC Malta offers internatio­nal services for its Advance customers. Whether travelling for business or leisure, Advance customers can benefit from emergency encashment and are recognised at any HSBC branch around the world. Customers can also utilise the Global View facility to access their HSBC accounts held worldwide and effect global transfers from HSBC to HSBC for free.

As an HSBC Advance customer, holders of the new Visa Platinum credit card will be able to make use of attractive bonus point reward schemes redeemable locally at Marks & Spencer, Scan Malta and as cash back on any airline ticket.
