AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort has launched Sajian Warisan Ibunda, a special buffet experience celebrating the rich heritage of local recipes and flavours during the fasting month.
From now until April 7, guests can indulge in a gastronomic adventure featuring 13 “Warisan Ibunda” stalls
that showcase authentic recipes of mothers and the Sepang community, alongside the culinary expertise of the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort team, who will also feature their own family’s generational-heritage recipes.
These curated stalls include Sup Gearbox Power Abang Isa, Lemang Istimewa Pak Lang Bukit Bangkong, Bubur Lambuk Air Jernih, Laman Sate Mak Mariny, Bakaran Si Tampok Manggis, Kambing Golek 18 Rempah, Kuali Uncle Lim & Uncle Johnny, Legendary Gorengan, Mak Intan Ketipang Payung, Balang Boleh Bah Kalau Kau, Dusun Sunset and Manisan Cik Raiha.
Each stall highlights soulful culinary traditions through a wide range of dishes, from the hearty and savoury food like satay, ikan bakar and asam laksa, to an array of local sweet and refreshing options like air batu campur, exotic fruits and an array of local drinks. Additionally,
there will be stalls that offer numerous kuih prepared by locals from around the area, as a part of the resort’s initiative to collaborate with the community of Sepang.
As guests enjoy their meal, they will be serenaded by the soothing melodies of a Ghazal band, adding to the ambience of the evening. Families with children can also look forward to movie screenings and a bouncing castle as they dine against the beautiful backdrop of the sea.
Priced at RM188 per adult and RM90 per child (four to 11 years), Sajian Warisan Ibunda includes a complimentary takeaway pack after the buffet for each diner.
