-

THE RECENT launch of the Heineken Malaysia’s The Great Brew Fest not only unveiled nationwide promotions on Heineken’s portfolio of premium global beers, stouts, and ciders, at participating outlets from now till Nov 10, but also showcased the first locally-brewed Tiger Amber Lager, and five ‘brew-inspired art’ by Malaysian artists.

Fans can now sip on this limitedrelease festival Tiger Amber Lager, brewed exclusively for The Great Brew Fest, as well as join in the fun with brew games for the chance to win giveaways valued at over RM250,000 in total.

Heineken Malaysia managing director Roland Bala said: “Be it lagers, stouts, ale, ciders or pilsners, we have a portfolio of great quality brews for beer fans to enjoy.”

Recognising the fact that consumers have discerning tastes and are keen to explore new choices, he said Heineken decided to add the limited release Tiger Amber Lager to the brewery’s line-up of “already great brews”.

“There’s nothing like having your own locally-brewed festival beer to mark the occasion,” said Roland who officiated the launch at Souled Out, Sri Hartamas, with the tapping of the first keg and c e r e monial

pour.

Consumers get to not only enjoy a favourite brew, but also the knowledge and craftsmanship that goes into each brewing process at The Great Brew Fest.

Tiger Amber Lager is a 5% ABV beer – a refreshing full flavour lager, with a hint of malty sweetness and hoppy aroma.

The Tiger Amber Lager will be available at selected bars, or at a mobile tap bar onboard The Great Brew Bus which will be stopping in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Penang, and Johor Baru on selected dates.

In addition, snap a fun picture for The Great Brew Fest MugShot contest, and you might get to redeem a bucket or draught set.

On top of that, consumers can also get to own a set of limited edition metallic mugs laser-etched with ‘brew-inspired art’ with the purchase of their favourite brew. The designer mugs are created in collaboration with five renowned Malaysian artists – Cloakwork (for Apple Fox), Kenji Chai (Tiger Beer), Beautiful Machines featuring Sling (Guinness Stout), Jarold Sng (Kirin Ichiban), and Lynda Chean of Pink Tattoos (Paulaner).

Heineken Malaysia sales director Andrew Woon said: “We want our consumers to be also inspired by the quality and craftsmanship going back hundreds of years for some of our brews, thus, encouraging greater appreciation for what consumed.”

As part of its commitment to advocating responsible consumption, Heineken Malaysia is also giving out GRAB codes valued at RM10 each to encourage consumers to drink responsibly.
