Combining Malaysians love for spicy food and the healthines­s of tuna, Ayam Brand is introducin­g a new variant of its favourite Chilli Tuna, that is extra fiery hot.

Previously, Ayam Brand offered its Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna in both Light and Original types. Now, it is introducin­g Fire-Hot Chilli Tuna, with a five-chilli rating.

As a comparison, the Original Spicy tuna has a rating of three, while the Light variation, which contains 33% less fat, has a rating of two.

The idea for the Fire-Hot Chilli Tuna came about during the ‘We Care, We are Family’ campaign, which found that Malaysians love their chilli, prompting Ayam Brand to create its spiciest Chilli Tuna yet.

Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna is a lean protein that is low in fat, and has no preservati­ves or added MSG. It is also rich in Omega 3 and is certified halal.

The easiest way to enjoy Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna is to eat it straight out of the can on a warm bowl of rice, or spread it on a slice of bread.

For a fun treat, try some recipes available on the Ayam Brand website. Among the favourites are the recipes for tuna bergerdil, or the sweet potato tuna cake.
