Four arrested over condo brawl

-

SUBANG JAYA: Four men were arrested following a brawl at the lobby of a condominium here on Monday.

Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said the four were a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and three Nepali security guards.

“They have been remanded till Friday to facilitate investigations,” Fadzil said, adding the case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting.

The incident that was recorded and went viral on social media saw the man in question engaging in a fist fight with security guards.

Azlin said the scuffle started when the man was denied access to the premises by the guards as the occupants of the condominium had earlier informed them not to let him in.

In the video, the man can be initially seen exchanging words with a security guard who looks like a foreigner.

A bystander tried to calm the situation but the man, clad in black sports attire, suddenly kicked the guard’s thigh.

The guard responded by grappling the man’s leg and both fell to the ground.

Two more security guards rushed over to help their colleague and apprehended the man.

It was reported earlier that the MMA fighter, known as Darriush Kha Lili, had admitted to being wrong for getting violent with the guard. – by Timothy Achariam
