NU SENTRAL recently hosted an event to celebrate the end of its fundraising campaign and the start of its festive undertaking.

AUTISM AWARENESS Nu Sentral’s “Be There For Autism” fundraising campaign, which was launched last year, culminated recently, raking in a donation amounting to RM22,000.

The funds will go to the National Autism Society of Malaysia (Nasom). The campaign encouraged visitors to the mall to contribute towards Nasom by placing huge awareness banners and posters, as well as donation boxes at participating outlets and a dedicated bank account for the ease of donors. Captivating were the “faces of the campaign” on the huge posters featuring Nasom’s very own students.

Their smiles greeted shoppers as they entered the mall from various entrances. PROSPEROUS CELEBRATION At the launch of Nu Sentral’s Chinese New Year campaign, “A Bountiful Journey”, a mock cheque was presented to Nasom chairman Feilina Feisol by Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad group managing director and CEO Datuk Kamalul Arifin Othman.

At the “cheque” presentation ceremony, Nasom students were treated to a fun day at the mall. The “treat” included a free eye check-up at Focus Point, new haircuts at IN Style Studio plus a movie at Golden Screen Cinemas.

The festive campaign launch also witnessed the children receiving ang pows and backto-school items sponsored by Smiggle, Ice-Watch, MPH Bookstores and Bath and Body Works. The fun-filled day ended with a delicious Peranakan lunch.

LUNAR NEW YEAR REVELRY Visit Nu Sentral this festive period and be pleasantly greeted by a sea of auspicious red and gold decor.
