Everything for a home under one roof

-

KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors made their way to the Perfect Livin ’18 home and lifestyle exhibition to hunt for bargains and quality home solutions.

First time homeowners – insurance agent Mohamad Nuzul Azwan Ali, 34, and his wife lecturer Nurul Fadhilah Abdullah, 33, – are looking to furnish their new place with big ticket items like sofas, kitchen cabinets and wardrobes.

Coming all the way from Bernam Jaya, Hulu Selangor, the couple also brought along their six-month-old baby Afyaa Farhana.

“I spotted roadside banners about this expo and thought that my husband and I should check it out.

“We just bought a house and we are looking to buy big and small products to furnish our home.

“Our budget for our two-storey house is RM50,000,” said Nurul Fadhilah.

“We want to find ideas and survey the prices here. It’s exciting to look around because for the first time, we can decorate our house the way we want to as it’s our own and we’re no longer just renting,” said Mohamad Nuzul.

Cheah Lean Chuan, 52, who works in the engineering field, first visited the exhibition when it first started 10 years ago and has been coming back for it ever since.

“I’ve supported it since the beginning. I’m here to look for furniture, kitchen cabinets, a sofa and a dining table as I’m refurnishing my home.

“We already bought two beds from the expo. My budget is between RM50,000 to RM100,000,” said Cheah, who lives in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.

The exhibition is being held at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur until today.

There are over 400 exhibitors with some 1,000 booths offering the latest in home furnishing, renova- tion, electrical appliances or decorations.

Each day, the first 1,000 registered visitors will get a free exclusive limited-edition Perfect Livin ’18 aluminium drinking bottle.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 9pm. Admission is free.
