The Star’s latest campaign offers readers the chance to win a luxury Asian cruise.

KUALA LUMPUR: There’s never been a better time to subscribe to The Star with its latest campaign offering readers the chance to win a luxury Asian cruise.

Three lucky winners who take up subscriptions during The Star’s Let New Adventures Begin! campaign will get to sail aboard a Dream Cruises ocean liner to destinations including North Bali, Phuket and Singapore.

The subscription campaign started on Oct 1 and ends on Nov 30.

The winners will get an unforgettable experience on the latest premium cruise liner in Asia, said Kenny Cheong, managing director of Hwajing Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, which is sponsoring the prizes.

The company is also sponsoring vouchers for a five-day, four-night ground tour of Hangzhou, China.

“Cruising has long been popular among Europeans and Americans and is fast catching up in Malaysia and the region.

“More than 12,000 people are taking up cruise holidays with our company this year so far, and I expect the number to keep growing,” said Cheong. He noted that unlike American and European cruisers who are typically aged 45 and older, Asian holidaymakers who choose cruising are younger with most between 25 and 45 years old.

“Land tours can be hectic and tiring, but a cruise offers holidaymakers a chance to relax and really see and experience much more,” he added.

Hwajing Travel and Tours was set up in 1989 and since 2000 has focused solely on cruise holidays.

To stand a chance of winning the prizes, readers can choose between four specially priced subscription plans during the twomonth campaign.

Plan A priced at RM490 comprises a oneyear subscription to The Star Bundle package comprising The Star newspaper, The Star ePaper and four other regional papers.

Readers who take up Plan A will get a free, guaranteed ground tour voucher to Hangzhou for two, with Muslim-friendly tours available with an upgrade fee. They also stand a chance to win the Dream Cruises holiday.

Plan B is tailored to current subscribers of The Star Bundle package, where they can renew their current subscription for RM280 with no change in price.

Readers who take up Plan B will get a chance to win the ground tour voucher to Hangzhou and also be in the running to win the Dream Cruises Holiday.

Plan C priced at RM360 comprises a twoyear subscription to The Star ePaper and four other regional ePapers.

Plan D priced at RM180 is for a one-year subscription to The Star ePaper and four other regional ePapers.

The Star print newspaper subscribers will also be eligible for the 2017 Lifestyle Income Tax Relief.
