Open to 10 couples per series, each of three scheduled “Nuptials in the Know” Wedding Workshops is hosted by a notable local expert. The final series on Jan 12 will be a ladiesonly affair, with model-actress Amber Chia sharing secrets on how to be the centre of attention and unleash your inner star power on your big day with 10 brides-to-be.

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur general manager Phil Riley said that he was proud to be offering such an innovative and unique approach to planning memorable wedding experiences in luxurious surroundings.

The “Nuptials in the Know” workshops started on Nov 17 with renowned geomancer and physiognomist Master Toh, daughter of the much-lauded mystic Hupo Zhu Master Lim, who helped couples determine the most auspicious date for their dream wedding.

The Dec 8 series will be led by renowned local gown designer Ong, who will be on hand to conceptualise and sketch personalised bridal gowns for the bride and a chance to view his collection.

For a sophisticated start to the new year, the exclusive and intimate “Nuptials in the Know” session on Jan 12 will be hosted by international model-actress Chia – one of Malaysia’s most recognisable celebrities – as she imparts her wealth of industry secrets concerning personal well-being, grooming and flawless style.

The first two sessions by Master Toh and Ong will be on a one-on–one basis and the last session hosted by Chia is a group session. To register, couples will need to e-mail meetingsandevents@interContinental-kl.com. my.
