With their chiselled good looks, australia’s Luke, Chris and Liam Hemsworth are the new acting family in Tinseltown.

IN the 1990s, when the Baldwin brothers were the hottest acting family around, it was fashionable to call a gorgeous guy “a Baldwin”. That was then. Now, Hemsworth may be the new byword for brawny, blueeyed, leading man looks.

The Hemsworth brothers are from Down Under, where Hollywood has mined for strapping movie stars such as Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman.

Luke, Chris and Liam Hemsworth were born in Melbourne, Australia, to a teacher mother and a counsellor father, and grew up in the Outback and on Phillip Island, where they would all go surfing.

Chris was the first Hemsworth brother to hit Hollywood pay dirt with an action franchise, starting with Thor (2011).

His little brother, Liam, was next with The Hunger Games (2012).
