Deputy Sarawak Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan announced this when closing MUDeNR’s KIK Convention 2023 at a hotel here on Thursday.
In wishing the state representatives all the best in their future endeavours, Awang Tengah who is also Second Minister for MUDeNR, expressed hope that these four KIK groups would continue to play exemplary roles in the culture of innovation and creativity in the state civil service.
In view of the achievements of these four groups, he called upon all other departments and agencies under MUDeNR to send in at least one group to take part in the ministry’s KIK convention next year.
He then encouraged the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) and the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) to take part by sending at least one group each in the next round.
Awang Tengah also congratulated KIK Sassoku Tech from LSD Kuching for being adjudged champion at the Sarawak Premier Innovation Award 2022 and also KIK Sharks from STIDC for receiving the Sarawak Civil Service Innovation Convention Awards (SCSICA) 2022’s Digital Innovation award.
