Nursery to serve as collection centre for local durians

-

SIBU: The Master Chen Musang King Durian Nursery located at Wong King Huo Road here will serves as a one-stop collection and processing centre for local durians by December this year.

The chief executive officer of Musang King Durian for Central Region, Kapitan So Teck Kee, has extended his welcome to all local durian farmers to send in their fruits for the coming durian season.

“The local durian farmers can send in their durian fruits to the nursery and we will pay cash to them.”

“Once we have collected the local durians, we will then process it to be exported to other places,” he added. He was speaking to reporters after the opening ceremony of the Master Chen Musang King Durian Nursery yesterday.

“Here at the nursery, we are also selling the Musang King durian seedlings.

“For those customers who purchase the Musang King durian seedlings, Master Chen will provide consultation on the cultivation and grooming of the seedlings so that they can plant quality Musang King durian fruits,” he added.

So said this is especially useful as farmers and planters need to equip themselves with the proper know-how in Musang King durian cultivation.
