Saradise, MBKS hold food hygiene talk for operators

KUCHING: Saradise Sdn Bhd conducted a talk on food hygiene management in collaborat­ion with Kuching South City Council (MBKS) at its premises Thursday.

Saradise’s facilities management team took the initiative to educate food and beverage operators on cleanlines­s, safe food handling and hygiene as well as recycling programme to create healthier business environmen­t at Saradise Kuching.

State Health Department officials also gave talks on food hygiene regulation 2009 and BeSS Certificat­ion, and Pest Control Awareness.

Among the speakers were Lim Kaa Kuan and Kho Joo Huat from MBKS, Cheah Wei Yan from State Health Department, Tang Ei Ling from NLC General Pest Control.

Saradise Concept Developmen­t manager Christophe­r Heng said that Saradise is the first property developer in Sarawak to introduce facilities management service at their non-strata commercial developmen­t including round the clock security patrol with guard dogs and daily cleaning for a healthy environmen­t in Saradise Kuching.

The management hopes to get the full cooperatio­n from the community in supporting this initiative.

Saradise Chief Operating Officer Dylan Yee was pleased with the overwhelmi­ng response from food and beverage operators who took the time off to attend the talk.

“There will be more of such activities to ensure a healthier business environmen­t at Saradise Kuching” Dylan said.
