Scania Credit expects more customers in Sabah to use its financing solutions
KOTA KINABALU: Scania Credit Malaysia expects to see more transport industry customers in Sabah using its financing solutions next year as more and more of them begin to appreciate the advantages.
“Customers now appreciate how to leverage the credit facilities that we offer so that they can use their cash for other investments, so it is no longer necessary for cash to be king to grow a business,” said Sales Manager of Scania Credit Malaysia, Anson Phua Zhing Han.
Scania is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, including trucks and buses for heavy transport applications combined with an extensive product-related service offering.
“In addition to offering attractive and competitive terms, Scania Credit Malaysia requires minimal collateral and is able to offer fast approval so that more assets can quickly be acquired when the opportunity arises, as well as prompt personal services,” Phua told reporters when met at the handover ceremony of vehicles to Kotamas Oil Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Pengangkutan Bandar Raya Kinabalu (Sida Express).
The keys were presented by Scania Southeast Asia Managing Director Marie Sjodin Enstrom to Kotamas Oil Director Datuk Rays Rustan and Syarikat Pengangkutan Bandar Raya Kinabalu Director Sapni bin Sapena.
Kotamas Oil purchased 16 trucks, which is a combination of the Scania G-series and Pseries trucks while Syarikat Pengangkutan Bandar Raya Kinabalu had purchased two units of the Scania K360IB4x2 buses.
The event also saw the presentation of the Scania FMS Competition Award to World International Holidays Tours Sdn Bhd, which was represented by its manager Alvey Ng for achieving best fuel savings in the bus category.
