Scania Credit expects more customers in Sabah to use its financing solutions

KOTA KINABALU: Scania Credit Malaysia expects to see more transport industry customers in Sabah using its financing solutions next year as more and more of them begin to appreciate the advantages.

“Customers now appreciate how to leverage the credit facilities that we offer so that they can use their cash for other investment­s, so it is no longer necessary for cash to be king to grow a business,” said Sales Manager of Scania Credit Malaysia, Anson Phua Zhing Han.

Scania is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, including trucks and buses for heavy transport applicatio­ns combined with an extensive product-related service offering.

“In addition to offering attractive and competitiv­e terms, Scania Credit Malaysia requires minimal collateral and is able to offer fast approval so that more assets can quickly be acquired when the opportunit­y arises, as well as prompt personal services,” Phua told reporters when met at the handover ceremony of vehicles to Kotamas Oil Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Pengangkut­an Bandar Raya Kinabalu (Sida Express).

The keys were presented by Scania Southeast Asia Managing Director Marie Sjodin Enstrom to Kotamas Oil Director Datuk Rays Rustan and Syarikat Pengangkut­an Bandar Raya Kinabalu Director Sapni bin Sapena.

Kotamas Oil purchased 16 trucks, which is a combinatio­n of the Scania G-series and Pseries trucks while Syarikat Pengangkut­an Bandar Raya Kinabalu had purchased two units of the Scania K360IB4x2 buses.

The event also saw the presentati­on of the Scania FMS Competitio­n Award to World Internatio­nal Holidays Tours Sdn Bhd, which was represente­d by its manager Alvey Ng for achieving best fuel savings in the bus category.
