30-Day Challenge encourages M’sians to lower cholesterol levels
KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle Omega Plus is encouraging Malaysians to lower their cholesterol levels through its 30Day Challenge from now until September.
The campaign held with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) and Allianz Life Insurance aims to inspire and motivate Malaysians to make that lifestyle change for heart health.
“Our mission is to educate and motivate Malaysians to live a healthier life. Our goal is simple – we want to incentivise more and more Malaysians to be aware of their cholesterol levels, to take on an active lifestyle, and to practise a healthy diet,” said Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad Milks Business Unit business executive officer Ng Su Yen in a press release yesterday.
“Driven by the many success stories we’ve heard since our previous 30-Day challenge, we have decided to bring back and expand the programme this year supported by partners such as IJN and Allianz, who are also strong advocates for heart health.”
IJN group chief operating officer Akmal Arief Mohamed Fauzi said IJN is excited by the collaboration to promote a healthier lifestyle.
“As the leading cardiac centre in the region, IJN continues to promote heart health awareness among Malaysians,” he said.
Allianz Malaysia Berhad chief market management officer Amy Loke said the partnership fits perfectly as part of the company’s continuous efforts to champion the fight against high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high body mass index through Allianz 3H Cover.
“Together, we hope to motivate you to make simple, yet important lifestyle changes towards better health and a fulfilling life,” Loke added.
The winner will have demonstrated the largest percentage of reduction in cholesterol levels.
At the end of the challenge, the top contestant will receive the grand prize of a brand new car and Allianz life insurance coverage worth RM80,000.
Nestle Omega Plus will also reward three lucky winners on a monthly basis.
Roadshows will take place in malls nationwide for participants to first undergo a cholesterol check.
