Better features and greater value in new Perodua Myvi

KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua is proud to launch the new Myvi (facelift model) to replace the current Myvi model line-up. The new range (1.3-litre and 1.5-litre) is packed with better features and greater value. The New Myvi’s improvemen­ts include enhanced safety features, better styling and irresistib­le pricing.

“The Myvi has been well accepted by the market and has so far generated a total sales volume of over 800,000 units, making it the most popular Perodua model to date,” Perodua president and CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

“The Myvi has enriched the lives of many in Malaysia and we believe that this model is still relevant and well accepted by our society. For this, we are greatly indebted to our loyal customers. It’sthetrusta­ndcontinue­dsupport from Malaysians of all walks of life that makes Perodua stand out among all,” Aminar said.

The New Perodua Myvi safety features boast a 4-star rating by the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asia).

Its enhanced body structure can better withstand frontal impacts, in line with global standards.

There are the front corner sensors that can be activated on certain occasions for added safety.

The New Myvi also features an anti-snatch hook on the front passenger seat and a retractabl­e cupholderf­orstoragec­onvenience. The newly designed multimedia system now includes a reverse camera for selected variants.

“These improvemen­ts were made after an extensive study on how we can bring greater value to our customers. We were able to increase the value propositio­n by about RM4,500 through added features and price down,” Aminar said.

Targeting to sell 6,000 units a month, the New Myvi is now available in two new metallic colours, namely Electric Blue (SE and Advanced variants) and Cosmic Gold (Standard G and PremiumXva­riants).Othercolou­r variants include Ozzy Orange, Mystical Purple, Glittering Silver and Ivory White (Solid).

The New Myvi consists of 4 variants, namely the 1.3-litre category (Standard G (MT/AT) and a new variant – Premium X (AT only)); and the 1.5-litre category (Myvi SE 1.5 (MT/AT) and the Myvi Advance Version (AT only)).

Prices of the new Myvi range from RM41,500 to RM58,900 (Peninsular Malaysia).
