King Living opens first flagship store in Bangsar
Australian furniture designer King Living recently opened its first flagship store in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar — a three-storey showroom aimed at enlarging the brand’s footprint in Malaysia and the Asian region.
King Living founder and chairman David King said the launch of the outlet marked a momentous milestone for the company as it looked to expand in Asia Pacific, particularly in Malaysia as an important market.
“Over the last two years, we have received overwhelming support at our show unit at IPC Shopping Centre.
“The opening of the flagship store was an imminent one that will allow us to offer a wider range of products to Malaysian consumers, who will be able to experience these products firsthand.
“It’s more than just a showroom, but a venue poised to provide a whole new experiential encounter for discerning consumers here who do not want to compromise on style, flexibility, durability and long-lasting personal comfort,” he said.
Also present at the launch was King Living chief executive officer Anna Carrabs and brand ambassador and television personality Neale Whitaker.
Leading up to the launch, David King and his team were feted by Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia Goledzinowski and his wife Lyn Allan at a reception at their official residence, here, as a symbolic gesture to mark the Australian brand’s expansion and the opening of the first flagship store in Malaysia.
With a history spanning more than 40 years, King Living is at the forefront of Australian furniture design, with a rich legacy of designing and manufacturing original, contemporary, highquality and award-winning furniture.
Every year, King Living introduces new designs and takes advantage of new technologies to offer customers the very best furniture.
King Living first opened its Malaysian outlet in 2017 at IPC Shopping Centre. Malaysians can now experience its legendary furniture products at both showrooms.
