COMMON GROUND SET FOR EXPANSION
Company targets to have 25 co-working outlets by year-end
COMMON GROUND Works Sdn Bhd targets to expand its co-working space in Malaysia to 25 outlets by year-end from 11 currently on the back of growing demand.
While traditional offices’ rental has been increasing over the years, co-working space has become a viable option for people to work as it offers more affordable and flexible packages that could be for a day use, a month or a year.
Common Ground head of operation Ru Sow said since the opening of its first outlet in Damansara Heights in March last year, the company’s co-working outlets have increased to 11 in Malaysia and two in the Philippines.
It is looking forward to entering Bangkok and Jakarta, and has plans to expand into Vietnam and Singapore.
“Our ambitious growth plans cover many strategic locations and include unique workspaces such as Malaysia’s first petfriendly co-working space, iconic penthouses, customisable workspaces for big teams of 200 to 350 persons and many more,” she said after the signing of a working agreement with IQI Global here yesterday.
The agreement was signed by Sow and IQI group chief executive officer Kashif Ansari.
Under the agreement, IQI’s 5,000 agents will be bringing new clients to the various co-working spaces, services and amenities provided by Common Ground.
Sow said part of the company’s success could be credited to the support of its trusted allies.
Meanwhile, Kashif said IQI is continuously branching out into new frontiers and co-working space is one of its many new ventures.
