BTS WINS TOP AWARD

-

AFTER bagging the Top Social Media Artist nod at the Billboard Music Awards in May, BTS was awarded Choice International Artist at the American fan-voted Teen Choice Awards recently.

The seven-member group was nominated alongside other K-Pop acts like Seventeen, Monsta X and EXO.

Just like for the BBMA award, BTS fans, called the Army, had to submit votes to secure BTS’ win.

Meanwhile, BTS has been releasing new Love Yourself posters, which fans thought was related to the group’s upcoming album. It turns out that it’s for a campaign linked to the band’s rumoured drama series. EVEN though she’s a popular member of K-Pop girl group Red Velvet, Wendy reveals she’s afraid to leave the house due to the influence her actions may have on others.

“I’m worried that I might make a mistake with my actions (while outside), and young children might follow what I do,” she says, as reported on Koreaboo.

Because of this, she is known as a homebody, but during her trainee days, she loved going out whenever she could.

“When I was a trainee, I would always be at the dorms or the training room but when I got a rare day off, I would excitedly spend the whole day outdoors.”

It’s heart-breaking to see her sacrifice her own hobbies for the sake of others! appeared on screen, fans cheered and screamed their names, prompting home viewers to complain on online community about the noise level.

Some couldn’t hear what the other cast members were saying, while others were so annoyed they didn’t finish watching the whole episode.

The episode, however, was an immense success, as achieved its highest viewership rating to date.
