Burgan Bank continues sponsorship of Ahmadi Music Group’s performances
Burgan Bank, a leading contributor to the arts and cultural scene in Kuwait, announces its 6th year of sponsorship of Ahmadi Music Group’s 2019 2020 season performances. As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering creativity and enriching the cultural life of the local community, Burgan Bank and the reputable arts organization share a mutual objective that will raise the level of musical standards.
The locally and internationally famous group is one of the oldest and largest performing arts group, and is the most prominent in the country for its orchestral, choral, operatic, jazz and pop music. Having conducted the largest concerts in Kuwait with over 100professional performers on stage. The group’s goal remains to provide performance opportunities for the active professional singers and instrumentalists residing in Kuwait.
Driven to support social advancement among all communities, the Bank is invested in growing the musical identity of Kuwait through exposure to multifaceted global experts. Through such innovative platforms, emerging local artists can strengthen their existing capabilities as well as adopt new skills that will provide wider opportunities around the world. Last year, through Burgan Bank’s sponsorship, the 65 year old Ahmadi Music Group held Kuwait’s biggest orchestra comprising of 130 performers from all over the world, one of Mozart’s most popular symphonies was played by leading calibers from The UK, Russia and Bulgaria.
