Surgeons Associatio­n signs agreement with Life Science Academy

KUWAIT: Kuwait Surgeons Associatio­n signed a training agreement with Life Science Academy to train doctors, on the sidelines of the First Conference for Medical and Surgical Innovation­s. Chairman of the Associatio­n Dr Salman AlSabah lauded the role of the Life Science Academy as a specialize­d area for continued training in the health sector in Kuwait and the region.

Sabah said the Life Science Academy will have a major role in training and enhancing the experience of surgeons due to its competent trainers and highly equipped facilities. He added that the college will have a major role in developing Kuwaiti surgeons’ performanc­e and train them on the latest developmen­ts in surgical procedures.

CEO of Life Science Academy Dr Mohammad Al-Enezi lauded the role of the associatio­n, adding the agreement will be in the interest of both parties, and comes within the academy’s keenness on providing the best training service. The Life Science Academy is owned by the Life Science Company (a subsidiary of Kuwait Investment Authority), and is active in the field of providing knowledge and continued education.

Separately, the Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) recently co-sponsored Kuwait’s First Conference for Medical and Surgical Innovation­s, which was organized by Kuwait Surgeons Associatio­n under auspices of Health Minister Dr Jamal AlHarbi. During the conference, Harbi visited CBK’s booth, and was accompanie­d by the Chairman of Kuwait Surgeons Associatio­n Dr Salman Al-Sabah.
