“I wrote about this great person to make the world remember and know who is Mohammad Jinnah so I wrote my book in Arabic Language, to make my Arab audience know about him, my aim is to make people know him as a humanitarian character” Rafiq said during a press conference at the book signing.
“When I read about the suffering of minorities in the past, I knew why we had to have an independent homeland. This thing can’t be understood by anyone, except those who suffered from racism, Mohammad Jinnah made their dream become a reality by founding a new Pakistan to live with dignity,” Rafiq said. “Pakistan today is not as it was and this is why we need to remind ourselves of the past, because we treat minorities as they were in the past.”
