‘Replacement policy will be according to new standards’

‘Senior graduates from universities that are academically less are included’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The replacement policy for fiscal year 2020/2021 will be implemented according to new standards, so that it includes senior graduates from universities that are academically less than universities listed in the Ministry of Higher Education’s record after the introduction of the Academic Accreditation System for some universities, reports Al-Anba daily quoted familiar sources.

The sources pointed out that the replacement will also include graduates from recognized universities, who have not obtained the accreditation of their certificates.

The sources considered that it is a precaution for the competent authorities to change the rules for replacement for the new fiscal year, so that it does not start with a view to the date of appointment.

The sources found that it will be better for the concerned authorities to change the rules of replacement for this new fiscal year so that the date of appointment to ensure that graduates of recognized universities are retained and also those who were able to obtain the equivalence of certificates obtained.

Moreover, the sources expect that the number of those who are laid off following the implementation of the replacement decision will reach approximately 4,000 employees, at least.

It is noteworthy to mention that the replacement will begin on April 1, 2020 and will continue throughout the new fiscal year which will end on March 31, 2021, which means the government institutions are entitled to give the names of those referred for replacements during the mentioned fiscal year.
