INJAZ-Kuwait organises Entrepreneurship Master Class Contest
Nationwide competition to determine first place
KUWAIT CITY, April 11: INJAZKuwait organized the third edition of its Entrepreneurship Master Class Competition, an exciting workshop that introduces students to the concepts of self-employment and entrepreneurship, which took place April 9-10, 2018 at Promenade Mall from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The workshop gave 300 students aged 11-14 the opportunity to practice teamwork by engaging in group activities meant to expand their horizons and direct their thinking towards their professional future in a fun way.
Throughout the workshop lead by INJAZ-Kuwait’s Program Coordinator Ali Boftain and Swap CEO Abdulwahab AlZankawi, students learned about business startups through a set of educational activities and games. Students from 27 public middle schools, winners of their school’s EMC competition, were divided into teams to compete against each other and come up with the best business idea.
The event was a nationwide EMC competition to determine first place. Each team was assigned a professional business mentor from Gulf Bank that helped them solidify their business idea before presenting in front of the judges.
INJAZ-Kuwait’s CEO, Laila AlMutairi hailed the EMC Competition stating that “INJAZ’s core values have always revolved around the concept of youth empowerment and developing this core value through the power of partnership. The success of our summer campaign, with the participation of many companies as partners and the number of students who joined reaffirm our stance in investing in Kuwait’s future by educating the country’s youth in entrepreneurial and business culture.”
“I’d like to extend a big thank you to Gulf Bank for being a great supporter of our programs and we look forward to collaborating with them again in the near future,” added Al-Mutairi.
INJAZ-Kuwait will continue to equip and support youth to ensure a more prosperous future for generations to come.
