TIES session on Prophet Ayyoub

(Job): TIES Center will hold another session of our series about some prophets and messengers of Allah (SWT) today at 7:00 pm. This will be our first session to talk about Prophet Ayyoub (Job).

In this class, we will explore his genealogy, origins, some Qur’anic verses that mention his name, and how he is related to Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

We will also discuss the nature of his fortune before his affliction, his children, the challenges he encountered while inviting people to monotheism, how increasing challenges made him stronger, and why he is famous as “The Paragon of Patience.”

Finally, we will explain why prophets and messengers were the most tried and tested and how they reacted in dire circumstances, focusing on the type of affliction that befell Ayyoub (Job) and what he told his wife when she suggested that he beseech Allah (SWT) to relieve his suffering.
